They Woke at Dawn
Presented Wed October 30th at Sarah Lawrence College as a part of the First Look Reading Series directed by Frank Barret.
Nothing ever happens in this small uranium mining town, until the night of the blood moon eclipse when lightning strikes and they wake at dawn. Dolly thinks it’s a normal day of work at the police station while searching for information about her missing father, until all hell breaks loose. There’s something rotten in the town of Nukeleanna, if that is its real name.
